The Sna Jose Mercury news has this amazing Kafkaesque article in which they describe how it might possibly become a cirme to watch a program and skip watching the commercials.

Media spokesdroids are already using the verb "steal" to describe watching a recorded show without viewing the commercials. They're trying to make Congress pass ill-considered legislation to make it an actual crime. Time to contact your congresscritter.
