Ohm's Law

Ohm's law is a fundamental tool of circuit analysis. It establishes the relationship between current, voltage, and resistance in a resistive circuit element. If you know any two of those quantities, you can find the third.

V = I * R

The voltage in a resistive circuit element is equal to the current flowing through that element times the resistance of the element.
